DECORATIVE CHROMIUM PLATING

 

I. “Chrome Mist Suppressant DC” is an organic material formulated for decorative chromium bath.

It is a liquid and easily monitored by using a “Hull Cell”; it provides the following benefits:

II. “Chrome Catalyst 210” is an organic material formulated for decorative chromium bath. It is a liquid and easily monitored and controlled by using a “Hull Cell”: It gives exceptional throwing power; making it well suited for plating parts with difficult geometric forms.

A less current is used to achieve the desired chrome coverage, it provides the following benefits:

  4. No need to regularly analysis for trivalent chrome saving lab time & costs.

 

 

Hard CHROMIUM PLATING

 

I. “Chrome Fume Suppressant HCR” is an additive, has been specially used for hard chromium bath, it provides the following benefits:

 

ADVANTAGES

  1. It is the most efficient additive to the problem of chromic mist.

  2. It gives -relatively- thin foam blanket but it is very effective and recommended in case of thick hard chrome deposits, if Cr+3, metallic impurities is high or chromic acid conc. is high.

  3. It is used for "hard" chromium bath (conventional or self regulating).

  4. It has a low foaming type.

  5. It decreases solution drag-out.

  6. It doesn't produce a thick foam blanket.

  7. It reduces surface tension of the chromic acid solution.

  8. It is stable at high temperatures, not oxidized by chromium.

  9. It is stable at high C.D.

  10. It does not cause coatings on anodes.

  11. It prolongs ventilation system life.

  12. It promotes final rinsing.

  13. It is easy to control & test.

  14. Low consumption.

 

II. “Euro-Chrome Super Catalyst 2000” provides faster plating speeds and improved deposit properties like hardness, corrosion resistance, crack structure and wear ability, it provides the following benefits:

  1. 50% faster plating speeds (1.2-1.3 mils/hr. at 31 A/dm2).

  2. Extremely smooth & very bright deposits.

  3. Buffers the bath for reduced pitting & nodules.

  4. 72-74RC hardness, better micro-cracks & wear life.

  5. Maintains speed even as impurities increase.

  6. Anodes that stay active & last longer.
